Bring your friends & family, along with blankets & lawn chairs, to enjoy FREE movies under the stars tomorrow, Sept. 10 at 7:00 pm at Deer Park Town Center, 20530 N. Rand Rd. Grab takeout from a Deer Park restaurant to enjoy while you watch "Tangled" near the turnabout between Brighton Collectibles and Evereve. 9/11 Memorial Ceremony & Concert in Barrington
The New York-based and internationally acclaimed American String Quartet will perform on Saturday, Sept. 11 from 7:30-9:00 pm at Barrington’s White House, 145 W. Main St., to mark the 20th anniversary of 9/11. The program features music written to commemorate 9/11 victims, Dvořák’s famed American Quartet, George Walker’s Lyric for Strings, and Samuel Barber’s Adagio for Strings. Let It Be Us Hosts Golf Outing on Sept. 13
There are still a few spots left for the Let it Be Us Golf Outing on Monday, Sept. 13 at Hawthorn Woods Country Club. Check-in and lunch begin at 10:30 am, followed by a 12:00 pm shotgun start. Golfers will enjoy fun on-course games, beverage carts, and a wood-burning pizza oven, then an open bar at 5:30 pm, plated dinner, keynote speakers, raffle, live auction, and more. Tickets are on sale for the Barrington Wine Walk on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 2:00-6:00 pm. This popular event provides an opportunity to enjoy fine wines from local suppliers, while exploring distinctive shops and restaurants in downtown Barrington. As an added attraction during the day, watch artists paint in the streets as part of the Plein Air Art Festival hosted by the Barrington Cultural Commission.
