This week Community members shared how they were experiencing the value of SERVICE:

• "Being part of a community is an invitation to serve"
• "I serve to get better with my self"
• "As I serve... I am served"
• "Service is seeking individuals as individuals are seeking service"
• "Service brings JOY"
• "Service connects us to others and grows our relationships"

Rev. Rafe reminded us that service is the nature of Creation and since there's only One Creation... all SERVICE is CREATION SERVING CREATION... LIFE SERVING LIFE.

The weekly study guide is an additional spiritual practice tool. Click on the green button below to access this week's guide.

If you're unable to access the study guides in a way that works for you, send an email to info@columbiacsl.com requesting which weeks you want and they will be emailed to you as Word Doc and PDF attachments.

A few points of clarification.

• We ask everyone to renew their membership and giving pledge so:
• you have an opportunity to recommit, and
• we know you're choosing to continue as a member of the Columbia CSL Community.
• If you already have a recurring giving set up in Breeze and you're choosing to continue it into 2025, you only need to complete the 2025 Pledge Form.
• If you have ANY additional questions, please reach out to me directly.

Much love,

Rev. Rafe

Quote of the Week

“Action on behalf of life transforms. Because the relationship between self and the world is reciprocal, it is not a question of first getting enlightened or saved and then acting. As we work to heal the Earth, the Earth heals us.”
