THIS WEEK'S AFFIRMATION

THIS WEEK'S

COMMUNITY VALUE DEMONSTRATIONS

Demonstrations of GRATITUDE

Each week we focus on one of our seven community values, and those of us that choose to share how the community value is showing up in their lives. This week our community value is GRATITUDE. Here's hoe GRATITUDE is showing in the lives of some of our community members.

Rev. Rafe: Expressed GRATITUDE for the Peace & Wellness Festival recognizing everyone that attended, everyone that served as a volunteer, and our musicians - Felicia Taylor, Gary Hardnett & Clint Hardnett that performed. He also shared his gratitude for the success of our "Take a Book - Leave a Donation" bucket and the $471.00 raised for our Center.

Gabrielle: Expressed GRATITUDE for the accurate and complete delivery their flower/plant order for their customers.

Felicia: Expressed GRATITUDE for the upliftment, connections and opportunity to jam with a new musician that she experienced at the Peace & Wellness Festival.

Dale: Expressed her GRATITUDE for experiencing Felica's connection with the guitar player and for her experience of everyone's joy at the Peace & Wellness Festival. She pointed out that something doesn't have to be about use specifically to experience gratitude.

MaryAnne: Expressed GRATITUDE for all the therapists & body workers.

Debra: Expressed GRATITUDE for being able to walk, move and be in her body. She expressed GRATITUDE for the ability to take responsibility for her life and make amends when she misses that mark.

SPIRITUAL SUPPORT MINISTY

INCLUSION MINISTY

Resources to support you in being inclusive and included.

We are taking the next step on our journey of revealing Spirit’s new name for Itself as our beloved spiritual community. When we remember that a revelation is an enlightening disclosure of the spiritual to the human; an A HA moment when we become aware of something that already IS that we just were not aware of yet, it takes all the pressure off to “get it right”. Let’s choose to trust the process together!!

You are encouraged to take the following steps:

1.     Pray: “I affirm that Spirit’s perfect name for Itself as our spiritual community is already known in the One Mind and since this One Mind is my mind this name is already present in my mind. I choose to be aware of it now.”

2.     Sit in the silence until you feel compelled to look at the list.

3.     Go through the list listening to Spirit’s voice within you, selecting the five (5) names that most resonate as “this one” when you read it.

You can submit your responses physically or electronically through October 31st. The results and our next step will be announced on Sunday, November 2nd during our Sunday Celebration Service.
