Natural Health Tips

Did you know that every time you take antibiotics, your gut microbiome (healthy bacteria) is permanently changed in a negative way? Our helpful gut bugs are important in brain, immune, digestive, and skin health – we don’t want to hurt these guys!
Did you know?

Travel can help improve your problem-solving skills.
Business & Safety Tips

Limit sugary drinks and caffeine when working in hot weather. Drink plenty of water.
Visit us at various fairs and festivals this summer, where we’ll be teaching kiddos about how, together, we can build a clean energy future  for Oregon. Learn more at PortlandGeneral.com/summerevents ( https://www.portlandgeneral.com/promotions/clean-energy-fun-sweepstakes ).
Debt service coverage ratio (DSCR)

A measure of the cash flow available to pay current debt obligations. DSCR equals Net Operating Income divided by Total Debt Service.
Ready - Set - Grill (safely)

  • Check your grill for cleanliness and damage.
  • Keep children and pets at a safe distance – at least three feet from the grill.
Reverse Mortgage MYTH

Only low income people get reverse mortgages.
Reality: The perception of a reverse mortgage only appealing to the “low-income” borrower has changed – many affluent senior’s with higher valued homes and healthy retirement assets are using a reverse mortgage as part of their financial and estate planning strategy.
Health Tips

Protect your medicine and equipment, as extreme temperatures may affect how they work. Don’t leave your insulin, diabetes pills, glucose monitor, or test strips in a hot car or direct sunlight. Carry insulin in a chilling case to keep it cool but not too cold.
Never purchase hair products at a grocery store!

Salon “brands” that are on a grocery market shelf were not purchased through the brand distributor and might be expired, a rejected formula, or just being sold illegally in that grocery store. Check with a professional.
Press Release

Tourism

Known as the gateway to the Columbia River Gorge, the town of Troutdale perches at the confluence of the Sandy and Columbia rivers just outside of Portland. It marks the start of 80 miles of dramatic beauty — the river winding from the east, sheer gorge cliffs and a string of rushing waterfalls. Before heading out to explore the Gorge, get a feel for friendly Troutdale. To learn more, Click Here.
