SBA U.S. Small Business Administration

The SBA is a federal government agency that works with organizations and private lenders to guarantee loans, assist with contracts, provide counseling sessions and offer other support to small businesses. Some of the different SBA loans include: SBA 7(a) loan, SBA 504 loan, and SBA Express loan.
Ready - Set - Grill (safely)

For propane grills, check for leaks in the gas tank hose before using your grill. Open gas grill top before lighting the grill. If the flame goes out, turn the grill and gas off and wait at least five minutes before re-lighting it.
Keeping Your Hair Shiny & Conditioned

Always towel dry hair before applying conditioner. Think of hair as a sponge, if it is full of water, it will not absorb the product efficiently. Keep a small towel close by in the shower for convenience. Also, only apply conditioner on the midstrands to the ends of the hair, never on the scalp.
Did you know?

Denmark has twice the number of bicycles as cars. In particular, Copenhagen is known for its biking culture and nearly every road features a bike lane.
Natural Health Tips

Are you too stressed? Chronic stress negatively effects every system in your body. The brain controls healthy hormone production, starts metabolism, tells cells when to make energy, and more. If the brain is busy wasting energy on a constant stress response, it can’t effectively perform all of those tasks.
Health Tips

Once opened, store insulin pens at room temperature and not in the refrigerator. Also be careful not to expose insulin pens to extreme changes in temperature because it can cause the insulin to lose effectiveness. Never put insulin in direct sunlight, the glove compartment of your car, or in the freezer.
Aging is hard

Not only are you getting older, so is your home. When will it need a new roof? Or a new water heater? These large purchases can wreak havoc on a retired person’s income. When planning for retirement, make sure to consider any impending large purchases.
Visit us at various fairs and festivals this summer, where we’ll be teaching kiddos about how, together, we can build a clean energy future for Oregon. Learn more at ( ).
Business & Safety Tips

1 in 10 construction workers are injured every year. Having an effective Safety Program in place is critical for employers.

Summer in Oregon is about exploring. It’s time to get outside and get your boots on the trail. We suggest the verdant corridor of the North Umpqua River in Southern Oregon. Starting just 22 miles northeast of Roseburg on Highway 138, this lesser-known gem affords 79 miles of wooded beauty for hiking, camping, horseback riding and mountain biking along the nationally designated Wild and Scenic River. It’s divided into 11 different sections ranging from 3 to 16 miles in length. Here are a few hikes to inspire you. (After all, you can’t do it all in one day.) To learn more, Click Here.
