We're Hiring an Events Coordinator!
This part-time position is to be responsible for planning and executing Marshall Area Chamber events, and serves as an initial point of contact with the business owners and general public. Key duties include: planning events, adhering to event budgets, set up/tear down of events, managing events, soliciting sponsors or partner organizations, assisting in marketing, and promoting events with media outlets including web, social, print, & radio.

The Dessert Frenzy is a fun way to raise funds and awareness for Hope Harbor while enjoying locally made gourmet desserts. If you plan to attend, be ready to give on the night of Frenzy, either your one-time or monthly commitment, or pledge to give at a later date. The amount of your gift will be anonymously totaled along with the rest of your table to increase your chances of choosing your dessert first. For every $1,000 given per table, a ticket will be put in for a drawing. The more $$ given, the higher the number of chances your table gets drawn before the others! It'll be a frenzy-full of fun!
Dress is casual for an evening of appetizers and dessert!

Vietnam Veterans Roundtable Meeting
Vietnam Veterans Roundtable Meeting at the Lyon County Museum, 301 W Lyon St, Marshall on Tuesday, March 28 at 1:30 PM. The meeting will be held in the ice cream shop on the main floor. The museum is in the process of fabrication for the new exhibit on the Vietnam War and Lyon County. If you are a Vietnam veteran, you are invited to attend the meeting to see where we are at with the exhibit and provide input. Newsletter Goals & Audience
The purpose of the Chamber E-Connection newsletter is to share our member's events with other business and community members. It's an informational newsletter and helps to promote our member businesses and their events. Each Friday, our newsletter is sent to over 1,500 individuals. Our separate emails are sent to the same list, but are held especially for our Chamber events and Business After Hours.
Newsletter Policy
E-Connection events are included based on the requests from the member business. The following criteria are requested by the Marshall Area Chamber for event submissions:
*Event flyers or submissions must be an actual event. We don't include sales or promotions.
*Events can be included in the E-Connection for one week free of charge. You have the option of adding one additional week for $20.
*Submissions to be included must be sent the Wednesday prior to that Friday's E-Connection - they can be emailed to chamber@marshallmn.org.
*All event flyers are for Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce members only.
