Meigs Park Groundbreaking

Local officials and community members celebrated the groundbreaking of the Meigs Miracle League Field and Park, an all-inclusive recreational facility for individuals with special needs.


The project, a collaboration between Okaloosa County and the City of Niceville, will transform the 4-acre park with ADA-compliant facilities, a sports field, and a walking track. Construction is set to begin this winter, bringing the community closer to enjoying this much-anticipated space.
