New Chamber Brand

Over the past year, our team has thoughtfully refreshed our fonts and color palette, creating cohesive brand guidelines that align our Chamber and Tourism efforts. We have also updated our official name to the Fannin County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Office, moving away from the CVB (Convention and Visitors Bureau) acronym. You will begin to see these subtle but meaningful updates reflected across our materials throughout the year. Today, you see the new look reflected in this newsletter, with more to come in the months ahead.

Advanced Voting will be held on the following dates at the Fannin County Courthouse:

May 4 - May 9, 2026

May 11 - May 15, 2026

9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The ballot Dropbox will be available each day during Advanced Voting. The Dropbox will be located in the lobby of the Voter Registration & Elections office. 400 West Main St., Ste. 301.

FREE Milkweed Giveaway is Friday

The Fannin County Chamber, University of Georgia Extension and Fannin County High School FFA and Blue Ridge Elementary School have partnered up to stratify milkweed (the milkweed glycosides help protect fireflies from predators) and will have FREE plants available for pick up!

May Member Spotlight, Blue Ridge Medical Center

Blue Ridge Medical Center has been a member of the Fannin County Chamber for over 30 years; they will be celebrating 50 years of service to our community in 2027. The Medical Center, including Riverstone, employees over 230 people from our area. Blue Ridge Medical Center is a nationally accredited Critical Access Hospital committed to providing high-quality, accessible care close to home. The Medical Center offers comprehensive medical and surgical inpatient care, a robust Swing Bed Program, a growing range of outpatient surgeries including general, orthopedic, pain management, cataract surgery, and other eye procedures. The general surgery offering include appendectomy, gallbladder removal, EGDs, colonoscopies, cancer, hernia, breast, vascular access port, laparoscopic procedure, wound care and more. The Emergency Department has several new providers which ensures excellent 24/7 care. The Medical Center can also provide convenient access to imaging, laboratory services, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy. The Walk-In Clinic at the Riverstone location offers everyday care and primary care providers. These services and the advancements to Blue Ridge Medical Center reflect their ongoing commitment to meeting the healthcare needs of our community.

Ambassador of the Quarter, Lea Bryant

Lea Bryant is our Ambassador of the 1^st Quarter. Lea currently serves as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones in Blue Ridge where she works closely with individuals and families to help them plan for their financial futures. Lea is committed to offering personalized guidance, helping clients make informed decisions, and supporting them through each stage of their financial journey. Originally from Baton Rouge, LA, Lea, and her husband relocated to put down roots and build a home in Blue Ridge after visiting nearby family for over a decade. In her spare time, she enjoys being in nature, saving animals whenever she can, and any activity on the water. She also enjoys caring for her 15-year-old beagle mix, Lulu, and 7-month-old cat, Poppy. We appreciate your dedication in supporting the Chamber!
