January Member Spotlight -
Fannin County Board of Commissioners
| | |
The Fannin County Board of Commissioners has been a valued Chamber member for more than 25 years and an outstanding community partner. The Board oversees the county’s administrative operations, including EMA, EMS, Fire Services, E911, Maintenance, Recreation, the Road Department, Animal Control, and more. Working together as a unified team, the Board of Commissioners share a common goal of serving and supporting the citizens of Fannin County.
Over the past five years, the Board has made significant progress in updating Public Works and Public Safety through the replacement of essential equipment. Looking ahead, a new county library is scheduled to open in early 2026, alongside improvements to the Fannin County Animal Control facility and the addition of a new fire station. Chairman Jamie Hensley often emphasizes “Unity in the Community,” a motto that reflects the shared values of the Board. We are grateful for their continued dedication and commitment to our community.
