As We Prepare for the Third Sunday of Lent
Spring has Sprung!

The Spring season is a time of refreshing and renewal. The sluggish feelings of Winter days seem to melt away with all the snow. We find ourselves energized to undertake projects, become more organized, renew an exercise routine, or better manage our health. An escape from cabin fever has many springing into action.

As God’s creations bloom back to life, Spring is a great opportunity to enjoy nature’s beauty. Spring is naturally when one should think about starting anew. God gives Christians a chance to start anew during the Spring Lenten season. Christians recommit themselves to God’s way of life during this season. Lent & Holy Week give His people a new start at reflecting, remembering, and preparing. The spring season can be a time to reflect on the many blessings you have received and God’s purpose for you. Lent reminds us to look beyond this world, into the world God has prepared for us.

We can use this season to take time to set goals at work, in the Church, at school, with relationships, and beyond. Make a list of all you want to accomplish in the coming months.

May God enlighten and bring new life to each of us this Spring and Lent season.
