The new Kehillah Experiential Music Chavurah will hold its first meeting after the High Holy Days

Experiential, because you are not expected to be a singer or a musician!

Together we will enjoy, explore, and  experience the breadth of Jewish music - liturgical music, movie soundtracks, show tunes, Yiddish melodies, modern composers ... anything you would like to discover!

Let us know you are interested! Members of the chavurah will determine the activities of the group. Contact Arlene Maletta at 602-485-0661 or send an email to Arlene at [email protected]. Please let her know what days and times you would like this Chavurah to meet.  She looks forward to hearing from you!

Because of HIPAA (related to privacy), hospitals won't notify us about your stay; nor will Jewish chaplains visit or share your information with us unless you specifically give permission and request that they do so.
Rabbi Sharfman and Congregation Kehillah want to support Kehillah members - so many emotions and issues arise during illnesses requiring hospitalization. Please call the office and give us your name, hospital name/room number and any health details you can share to enable us to be responsive to you and your needs.

Do you know that there are several ways that you can help support Congregation Kehillah and express your core values? We have funds set up for you to donate to celebrate, honor, remember, give thanks, and to assist or simply to do tzedakah.

Just recently we added an easy way for you to also support Israel and your congregation. Next time you wish to plant a tree, you can do so directly shiny-tree-button.jpg through us. We now have an account set up with Jewish National Fund and they will send the certificate out on your behalf. Each tree is $18 and a portion of the donation stays with Congregation Kehillah.

Please contact Renee, 602-369-7667 for more information or to place your tree order.

Here are the other funds you can chose from to donate and help support Congregation Kehillah:

> General Fund
> Building & Beautification
> Caring
> Education
> Gottlieb Music Fund
> Oneg & Hospitality
> Social Action
> Torah
> Rabbi's Discretionary          Fund
--------------------
> Memorial Board
> Adopt a Prayer Book

Supporting Kehillah and expressing your Core Values is easy: You can donate on our website, in any amount or send a check to our address
(at the bottom of this newsletter).
