Construction for a new roundabout at the SR-38 and Stanfield Cutoff intersection will begin at the end of April and will continue through December 2025. Work will occur from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
What This Means For Your Commute:
Expect lane closures and potential short full stops. Flaggers will be directing traffic.
One lane will remain open in each direction for most of the construction.
All lanes will be open during nights, weekends, holidays, and special events to minimize impact.
Affected Area: SR-38, stretching from 1200 feet west to 700 feet east of Stanfield Cutoff, and from 146 feet north to 440 feet south of the intersection.
Crews will be building a new roundabout to improve safety and traffic flow.
Plan Ahead: Please allow extra travel time for your commute through this area. Your patience is appreciated. To see all other road notices, please visit our website at dpw.sbcounty.gov
