WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW:
Join us on October 31 st from 5:30 - 8pm for our
Annual Light the Night!
Our desire in having this event is to provide the children of our community with a safe alternative to Halloween. Children (and parents) will be in a safe environment where they can play carnival style games, win prizes, have fun on bounce houses, various inflatables, and climb a rock wall! Some of the food and snacks that we will be serving are hot dogs, hot chocolate, popcorn and cotton candy. All of this is available at no cost to those who come! And, of course, they will receive a bag of candy!

There is much work involved in putting on this event. If you can help out in any way, please see Erin Vincent. Help is needed a few days leading up to the 31 st as well as during that day and after the event is over. Any thing you can do would be greatly appreciated!
Awaken The Dawn - Tent gatherings of worship, prayer, and gospel proclamation will be happening simultaneously across all of America from 6pm October 17 th through 8pm on October 19 th . Rock Solid Church in Hudson is one of the host churches for this nationwide event. Please join us there for this amazing time of prayer and worship! Other sites include Victory Church in Albany as well as on the steps at the Capital Building.

This Connect Group has been meeting on Thursday evenings at 6:30. They are working with the American Heart Association (in connection with the Children's Heart Foundation) on a project called "Little Hats, Big Hearts". Volunteers from around the country are knitting and crocheting adorable red hats for babies that are born in February. They are looking to make 100 hats and would greatly appreciate donations of red yarn. CANDY FOR LIGHT THE NIGHT
We are seeking candy donations for Light the Night! Please consider partnering with us for this event by donating a big bag or two of your favorite candy!
If you wish to contribute but don’t have time to snag candy there will also be a canister for monetary donations.
Both drop offs will be near guest services.
On September 1, Hurricane Dorian delivered a devastating blow to two major islands – Grand Bahama and Abaco.
The death toll in the Bahamas has risen to 50 people. It's expected to rise further — 1,300 people are missing, according to the country's National Emergency Management Agency. The UN says more than 70,000 people on Abaco and Grand Bahama need lifesaving assistance.

This is a time for the Christian Community to come together and support our neighbors in need. We are collecting funds, along with the Catskill School District, to help in some way with the effort to restore what has been lost and destroyed in the Bahamas. All monies donated will go directly to Samaritan's Purse Hurricane Dorian Relief.

Please, your support is greatly needed! To donate, you can make your checks payable to Community Life Church but make sure to write "Bahamas Hurricane Relief" on the memo line. You can also give online by clicking here . Go to the "Give To:" field, click on the drop down arrow and select "Bahamas Hurricane Relief".
