On September 1, Hurricane Dorian delivered a devastating blow to two major islands – Grand Bahama and Abaco.
The death toll in the Bahamas has risen to 50 people. It's expected to rise further — 1,300 people are missing, according to the country's National Emergency Management Agency. The UN says more than 70,000 people on Abaco and Grand Bahama need lifesaving assistance.
This is a time for the Christian Community to come together and support our neighbors in need. We are collecting funds, along with the Catskill School District, to help in some way with the effort to restore what has been lost and destroyed in the Bahamas. All monies donated will go directly to Samaritan's Purse Hurricane Dorian Relief.
Please, your support is greatly needed! To donate, you can make your checks payable to Community Life Church but make sure to write "Bahamas Hurricane Relief" on the memo line. You can also give online by
