A COMMUNITY KIDS SERVICE PROJECT
Hats, scarves, mittens, and gloves will be collected from
November 15 th - December 15 th to be donated to the Capital City Rescue Mission. Items must be clean, in good repair, and durable. These items will be distributed to homeless folks and will also be used in the mission this winter. A box will be located in the church entrance near Guest Services. Please keep in mind that there are a substantial amount of homeless children as well as adults. For more information, please see Tammy Hall. Thank you in advance for walking with our Community Kid's members in meeting the needs of others!
As many families are getting ready to decorate their homes for Christmas, we also are decorating a very special tree at CLC. The Giving Tree program reaches out to families who are in need of some extra Christmas cheer. In addition to lights and ornaments, this tree will be decorated with “gift tags”. The tags describe a gift to be purchased: a favorite toy, clothing, shoes, gift cards, etc. The tags will be marked with the gender, age, and sizes of the individual. We will have the tree set up this Sunday in the main entryway. Please take a gift tag (as many as you want!), make sure it is recorded on the sheet, and return the unwrapped gift to the church office by December 15 th . Please, do not wrap the gifts or seal envelops. Gift bags are acceptable. If you have any questions, please see or call Judy DiPrima at 518-622-8160.
Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year ladies! Taking Care of God's Temple will return in March 2020!
On September 1, Hurricane Dorian delivered a devastating blow to two major islands – Grand Bahama and Abaco.
The death toll in the Bahamas has risen to 50 people. It's expected to rise further — 1,300 people are missing, according to the country's National Emergency Management Agency. The UN says more than 70,000 people on Abaco and Grand Bahama need lifesaving assistance.

This is a time for the Christian Community to come together and support our neighbors in need. We are collecting funds, along with the Catskill School District, to help in some way with the effort to restore what has been lost and destroyed in the Bahamas. All monies donated will go directly to Samaritan's Purse Hurricane Dorian Relief.

Please, your support is greatly needed! To donate, you can make your checks payable to Community Life Church but make sure to write "Bahamas Hurricane Relief" on the memo line. You can also give online by clicking here . Go to the "Give To:" field, click on the drop down arrow and select "Bahamas Hurricane Relief".

Thank you in advance for any support you can give!
