Volunteer Opportunity This Saturday!

EV Charger Project Coordinator Needed

Are you good at getting things done? We are preparing to start our EV charger project. We need a volunteer to be the point person. You’ll keep tabs on the contractors, and be sure we stay on schedule. The study work has been done, we know the product and plans, the grant money has arrived. Please contact Chris Reis, Bill Keen, or Pastor Mike if you’re interested! We hope to complete this project by the fall.

Rainbow River Action Alert

As United Methodists, our faith compels us to stand against war. Our Social Principles state, “We reject the use of war as an instrument of foreign policy and insist that every peaceful and diplomatic means of resolution be exhausted before the start of armed conflicts.” Our military involvement in Iran threatens to pull our country into continued conflict, which has not been authorized by Congress. This month's Action Alert is to support the No War with Iran resolution, calling on Congress to oppose war and support diplomacy. Read more and contact your congresspeople here.
