Maundy Thursday Tenebrae
April 2, 6:00pm
Join us during Holy Week for a soup supper and Tenebrae on Thursday, April, 2 at 6:00pm. This service of shadows will include music, scripture, and the gradual extinguishing of candles to reflect on the final hours of Jesus’ life. All ages are welcome to a night of remembrance and community.

New LOL Study: Invitation to Psalms
Happy Easter!
As the women's group LOL wraps up our Lenten study, we are looking ahead to our new study on Psalms, starting Tuesday April 7 at 9:30-11:00. This prayerbook of the Hebrew people, composed over 500 years, is also the book we Christians turn to when we are searching for consolation, encouragement or celebration as we go through the ups and downs of life today.. We will be using the book, Invitation to Psalms by Michael Jinkins. Used copies will be available for everyone. We now meet every Tuesday in the upstairs main room. Help Support Youth Missions
Looking for another way to help support youth missions?
We have exciting news to share regarding new options for fundraising through RaiseRight (formerly known as ShopWithScrip). Many of you are familiar with the gift cards we have on hand in which the proceeds benefit our youth mission programs. Now there are even more options available including gift cards you can ship to your home, e-gift cards, and reloadable gift cards, all of which can be ordered at your convenience through the RaiseRight website (www.raiseright.com) or RaiseRight app. All of these options help support our youth. Youth on a Mission Envelope Fundraiser
Help send 7 Sugar River youth to Boston this summer for a Next Step Ministries Mission trip! The youth are seeking sponsors to help raise funds for their trip.
The fundraiser is easy to participate in! Hanging on the wall are brightly colored envelopes numbered 1-100. All you have to do is pick an envelope off the wall, whatever number is on the envelops is the amount of money you wish to donate. Place your donation in the envelope and write your name on it. Meadowridge Snack Attack
The Thursday Morning Men’s Group will fix sandwiches and deliver snacks on Monday, April 20th. Donations for sandwich-making and other snack items are available. Here is the link for details and to sign-up. Items are due by Sunday, April 19th. The signups are also accessible by our website at: https://www.sugarriverumc.org/about-5, or by navigating to the SERVE dropdown. We post the new signups there monthly. You can also give directly to the Meadowridge Snack Attack Mission by going here and selecting Meadowridge Library Snack Attack. This allows us to purchase any additional items we may need each month.

Sugar River Blood Drive

Our next Blood drive At Sugar River UMC will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm.
One blood donation can start a ripple of hope. Help life bloom this month for patients in need. Celebrate National Volunteer Month this April! When you volunteer to give your time with a blood donation, you give patients a fighting chance.
