Update - Church Parking Lot News

Our paving contractor wants the flexibility to work around the weather, and to get our lot paved as soon as possible. Asphalt curing times vary due to weather. We now have a backup plan. 

If the parking lot needs to be closed to vehicles on Sunday, June 7, we ask that anyone with mobility issues park at Verona Chiropractic next door. We’ll have a person there to help you in the back door, where there is a ramp, and then you can take the elevator to the lobby. 

Everyone else can park on the street, or behind the apartment building across Legion Street. We’ll be able to walk to the building. We’ll have a greeter directing traffic. Or you can enter through our back door, by the chiropractor’s office if that’s easier for you.

Rainbow River Action Alert

Black mothers in Wisconsin are about 5 times more likely to experience maternal mortality than their white counterparts, and we have one of the highest Black infant mortality rates in the country. The bipartisan Tech to Save Moms Act aims to reduce these disparities through telehealth so all patients can access high-quality care, no matter where they live. Female Adult Chaperone Needed For Youth Mission Trip!

We are suddenly in need of a second woman to accompany our youth on their trip to Boston June 20-28. You’ll be sharing the driving of a 15- passenger van, guiding our youth, participating in various work projects, worship experiences, and learning. You don’t have to do any planning, and the group times are led by our hosts. You’ll be sleeping on your own cot or air mattress. We have a great group of kids going, and you’ll have the chance to make lifelong memories!
