Lenten Study: The Third Day

Are you looking for an opportunity to connect with others in a small group setting, grow in your faith and strengthen your relationship with God? Are you looking to expand your understanding of the resurrection and the significance it plays in your faith? Consider participating in a Lenten study using the book The Third Day by Rev. Tom Berlin.

There are three opportunities to participate in this study:

· LOL Group on Tuesday mornings at 9:30am led by Laura Flood

· Men’s Online Morning Group on Thursday mornings at 645am led by Mike Polk

· An evening study on Thursdays at 630pm led by Pastor Erin Ford. This group will begin meeting on Thursday, 2/19/26 and will meet at the church.

For more information about any of these opportunities, please reach out to the contact Laura, Mike or Pastor Erin.

Youth Mission Trip

June 20-28

All youth finishing grades 5-12 are invited to participate in the youth mission trip to Boston, Massachusetts this summer. The trip is scheduled for June 20-28, 2026. Mission trips are a wonderful way for youth to engage in service, grow in their faith and relationships with others, learn more about the world around them and make incredible memories.

Communion Preparer Needed

Would you consider helping to get the bread and juice ready for Communion on weeks when you’re available? This Sunday would be a great time to learn the process. Please contact the church office today if you can help!

Counters Needed

The counting team would like to add 2-3 more offering counters. Counting is usually done after worship and each counting team counts an average of once every 2 months. Please contact the church office for more information or to express interest!

Are You a Good Match for a Role at Sugar River?

We need your help! We have some important roles we’d love to talk to you about.

Counters: Count the offering after church on Sundays, about once every other month

Greeters: welcome people to church on Sunday, about once a month as it fits your schedule

Trustee: Serve on a team that makes decisions about our building and operations

Rainbow River: This team needs an organizer to help keep us on schedule as we look at how we can be involved in social justice, and welcoming the LGBTQ community

Stewardship: We meet several times a year to thank our members for their gifts and service, engage people and help them commit, and we plan the annual fundraising campaign.

Communion Preparer: Join a rotating schedule to get the bread and juice ready

Please contact Pastor Mike or Tina if you want to hear more!
