Hope in the Hard Places

January Series

In a world marked by uncertainty, disappointment, and constant change, hope can feel fragile. Yet scripture reminds us that hope is not wishful thinking or blind optimism. Hope is a confident trust rooted in who God is and what He has promised.

This three-week series explores what it means to live with a hope that holds, even in hard places. Together, we will look at how hope is formed in suffering, strengthened through faith, and sustained through gratitude and trust in God’s plan. Through sermons and personal stories, we will discover how hope becomes more than a feeling. Hope becomes a way of life anchored in God’s faithfulness.

New LOL Study - Revival by Adam Hamilton

January 13, 9:30am

Have you ever wondered how some people are so alive in their faith, and others seem to be lackluster? What will come alive in us to have a craving to know God better? We are going to look at what created the vibrant, alive Methodist church of John Wesley, and see if we can recapture the fervent faith for ourselves again in 2026.

Come join the LOL group for a six week study on Tuesday mornings at 9:30-11:00 starting January 13. We will meet in the back of the Sanctuary. The book and DVD we will use is Revival by Adam Hamilton. Used copies have been ordered and will be available by our first meeting. We will learn and laugh together, and love each other through our time together! All are welcome! Contact Laura Flood for more information.

No "The Village Table" This Month

Because our group leaders will be serving in Guatemala on a mission trip, there will be no "The Village Table" meeting this month. We will return to our regular schedule in February.
