Blessing Bag Rice Meal Packing Event Results

Wow did we get the job done on Saturday, October 4!! We surpassed our goal of 5000 bags. We bagged 5080 bags total and we were still done early. Looks like next year there will need to be more…. We also surpassed our financial goal. The numbers are not all in and final but it looks like we made the $12,000 goal so we have money to start for next year. None of this would have been possible if all of you did not show for all the fundraising events and the work on Saturday. Thanks to all of you 30,480 people will be fed. Well done Sugar River Family!!!!

Blood Drive

October 22, 10am-3:00pm

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Did you know that about six blood products are needed every minute to help someone going through cancer treatment? It’s important to have a strong blood supply for those fighting cancer and others relying on lifesaving transfusions.

Fall into donating! Those who come to give Sept. 22-Oct. 19, 2025, will receive a $1Amazon.com Gift Card by email.

For details, visit RedCrossBlood.org/Fall
