FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK

Hi All,

What an eventful and exciting week at Ox Ridge! I want to extend deep thanks to our incredible Book Fair and Ox Rocks committees. I’m continually impressed by, and thankful for all of the exceptional parental talent that enhances our school community. Congratulations to all of our amazing student performers from Ox Rocks! Your creative spirit and drive to share your gifts with our school is truly beautiful. Thank you also to the supportive and kind audience members who were present to lift up our student performers. Finally – thanks to our awesome faculty; particularly Mrs. Watson and Mr. Allen for their contributions to such a successful event.

A reminder that:

I’m excited to welcome you to a PTO speaker series event centered around safety and security at Ox Ridge. For this meeting, we’ll welcome our district director of security, Mr. Leon Krolikowski and our newly appointed building School Security Officer (SSO) Mr. John O’Connor! This event will provide all an opportunity to learn more about the SSO program in Darien and to have a broader conversation with our team around safety and security at Ox Ridge.

We’ll hold the meeting at 10:00 AM on April 6th in our school library. For those who would like to attend virtually, you can use this zoom link to do so at that time. We will record the session as well and I’ll distribute the recording link after the meeting. If you have any specific questions or concerns that you are hopeful to learn more about, don’t hesitate to reach out prior to the 6th!

Thanks,

Luke

OX ROCKS REALLY ROCKED...THANK YOU ALL

WOW! What a night! To everyone that participated – the Ox Rockers, the 5th Grade Finale, the 3rd Grade Ushers, the “Future Ox Rockers” that submitted videos [HERE] and the talent via photographs [HERE] – you ALL have blown us away. Thank you so much for being a part of the inaugural Ox Rocks talent show. Your willingness to share your talents with others is truly inspiring and a reflection of your generosity and commitment to making our community a better place. Not only did you showcase your unique abilities, but you also created an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie among everyone there. We know you will continue to inspire others with your creativity and passion. The 5th Grade Finale was powerful and awe-inspiring – we are so proud of you and hope you will continue to sing and proclaim who you are as you enter middle school!

The show was recorded and as soon as it is available, we will send it out to the Ox Ridge Community.

We also want to extend our gratitude to all the family, friends, and fans that attended the show. We sold over 600 tickets, filling the DHS auditorium with love and support for all of the performers and our community. OX ROCKS!!
