Last week, Dream It. Do It. Colorado welcomed more than 60 attendees over three days between the Stakeholders Meeting in Denver and Manufacturers Information Sessions in Greeley, Colorado Springs and Grand Junction. Thank you to all of our attendees and location hosts: Metropolitan State University, CAVEA; Greeley Chamber of Commerce and FMS Bank; Colorado Springs Regional Business Alliance; and Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce.

On March 14, 2016 Lowell Matthews, Jr., State Policy Director of College and Career Readiness with the Foundation for Excellence in Education addressed policymakers, education advocates and business leaders at the STEM Summit Policy Forum in Denver. The forum, hosted by the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce and Colorado Succeeds, was an opportunity to focus on expanding and improving STEM - science, technology, engineering and math - options for all of Colorado's students. Read more

Check out Federal Balancing Act, a user-friendly, interactive budget simulator for the US budget using the new Balancing Act platform. This is the first national budget to use Balancing Act and the first time the designers have worked with a non-governmental entity to produce a simulation. Bipartisan Policy Center, a respected Washington D.C. think tank, provided the budget expertise. This version of Balancing Act builds on our familiar, intuitive single-page interface, but has some unique features like new types of questions, income tax revenue categories, enhanced social media sharing and a sustainability meter. Learn more
20X Industry: Creative Industries
The 303 ArtWay is Denver's first Art, Health, and Heritage themed urban trail. The paved walking and biking path will ultimately link the neighborhoods of Park Hill, City Park, Skyland, Whittier, Cole, Clayton, and Elyria Swansea with the new 40th & Colorado rail station on the University of Colorado A-Line from Union Station to DIA, opening next month.

This public trail will add pedestrian and biking connections where none currently exist, as well as incorporating public art, distinctive directional signage, and historical markers to celebrate the unique identity and cultural history of Northeast Denver's neighborhoods. To support and provide feedback about the 303 ArtWay, complete the online survey Read more
20X Industry: Aerospace
Representatives from a coalition of 13 leading U.S. space organizations have produced a white paper entitled "Ensuring U.S. Leadership in Space."

The coalition includes aerospace professionals from industry, academia and government, who joined together to outline issues every presidential and congressional candidate needs to know about space to ensure that space and space policy are a priority in the next administration. The paper was introduced last week at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
