If you’re headed off island or staying on island to do some Christmas shopping in the next few weeks, think about St. Paul’s Christmas Market and remember the number TWO.

If you find the perfect little gift for someone on your list, consider buying TWO and donating one to the Christmas Market.

If you’re buying some ideal, adorable, perfect Christmas decoration to deck your halls, buy TWO and donate one to the Christmas Market.

If you buy some Christmas wrapping paper, buy TWO…….     (you get the idea).

HOWEVER, don’t let the number TWO constrain you. If you think you found something fabulous that would be a BIG HIT at the Christmas Market, buy as many as you want.

Leave your donation on the bench in the Parish House or call the Church office if you got carried away and need help.

Of course, we still WELCOME donations of your gently used, gift appropriate items for the Christmas Market. Also, we are looking for unique, special, high-end items for the Christmas Market Silent Auction. Contact Olly Wolf at wolfsanddogs@verizon.net with questions and for guidance.

Advent I, Sunday, December 2, 9:30am: Advent Lessons and Carols with Eucharist

This special service of Advent Lessons and Carols with Eucharist, Sunday, December 2, will be the opportunity to usher in the beginning of the church year with scriptural readings and music. Advent carols, choral anthems, hand bell music and vocal solos.

Advent is a season of both quiet reflection and joyful expectation. The service is intended to be a time of spiritual preparation, as we watch and wait for the coming of the Kingdom of God. Through our experience of sacred Word and music, the story of the coming of Christ will gradually unfold and deepen our understanding of God’s message of love and redemption.
