St Paul’s Church in Nantucket -Episcopal
Inquirers Class Forming
Father Max is gathering a group for an Inquirers class series. Those interested in learning more about The Episcopal Church, and those preparing for Confirmation or Reception during Bishop Gates’ island visitation on June 9th, please inform Christine in the office or Father Max. We will strive to arrive at meeting times that are convenient for most. Sister Susanna and Father Max are also working on preparing our youth for Confirmation. Please let us know if you are aware of community teenagers who would be interested .
Mas Mesmer Show – Friday, March 15, 7:00pm
Sawyer Phillips, guitar, Andrew Chitester, drums, and Isaiah Williams, organ, will be featured for a Mas Mesmer concert of special effect lights and music at St. Paul’s Church on Friday, March 15, at 7pm. Admission is $2 at the door.

April 10th, Wednesday. Contemplative Eucharist and Lenten Supper service starts at 6:00pm with Supper to follow.
April 18th, Thursday. Maundy Thursday Supper of Mediterranean Stew, Bread and Salad at 6:00pm in Gardner Hall. Service to follow at 7:00pm. Hosted by the Altar Guild.
May - “An Invitation to Tea” hosted by the Fellowship Committee and held at Sherburne  Commons. Invitees will be Sherburne Commons residents and ladies of our parish. Details TBA.
Movie night at St. Paul’s!
Our next Movie night in the Parish House will be on Thursday, March 27th

The featured movie will be Arsenic and Old Lace . Oscar winner Cary Grant stars as a drama critic whose life is turned upside down when he discovers his two spinster aunts have taken to poisoning their gentlemen house guests. A great blend of crime mixed with comedy mixed

Friday, April 19 at 6:00pm - Good Friday Choral Requiem Service sung by St. Paul’s Choir.
Saturday, April 20 at 8:00pm to 10:00pm – The Great Vigil of Easter
Sunday, April 21 at 9:30am - Easter Festival Holy Eucharist Service with Egg Hunt and Coffee Hour to follow.
We Need Eggs
The Annual St. Paul’s Easter Egg Hunt is on Easter Sunday, April 21st following the service. We need a lot of eggs so that all the children who participate can find some! Please consider donating a dozen or more plastic eggs each filled with individually wrapped candy. You can leave them in the back of the Church or in the Parish House on the bench.   New Life Ministries International
Please accept greetings from our congregation New Life Ministries International in Nantucket on behalf of our Senior Pastor, Garfield Bloise.
New Life Ministries International (NLMI), Nantucket is pleased to host its annual convention. Pastor Garfield Bloise and the New Life Ministries Nantucket family will be celebrating its 17 th year in ministry. We are grateful for the grace and mercies God has bestowed upon us, in bringing us thus far. We give the Almighty thanks has he continues to guide along this journey. The Word of the Lord states in Ephesians 4:7, "But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ." Our mandate has been and continues to be, to honor our Lord Jesus Christ by fulfilling the great commission and we are fully committed to doing His will.
Our letter serves to invite you to our church and 2019 annual convention. Our guest speaker for the duration of convention is Bishop Christopher Lewis.
The theme for our Annual Convention is, “Grace for the Journey, All for His Glory: Refocus, Re-align and Rediscover” .
The convention services will be March 15th-17th, with two services on the 17 th . The dates and time for each day’s service is a follows: Friday March 15th, service begins at 7:00PM; on Saturday March 16 th service begins at 7:00PM and on Sunday March 17 th our morning service will begin at 10:00AM and evening service at 6:00:PM.The convention will be held at a local convention center address: Nantucket VFW Post 8608 New South Road, Nantucket Rd, MA 02554.
This event is open to all churches and families in the community. We hope that you will be able to join us. We look forward to fellowshipping with you.
