Two musicians with long standing St. Paul’s connections, Ann Martindale and Richard Busch, will present a “Cabaret” performance on

Nantucket Community Music Center Parlor
, 56 Centre Street. Ann is a devoted member of St. Paul’s adult choir; Richard was the director of music and organist for 11 years. Together they will be presenting favorites by Cole Porter, George and Ira Gershwin, and Duke Ellington, among others. Tickets are $25 per person with pre-concert wine and hors d’oeuvres. Collection for Food Pantry-Sunday, October 6
Our next collection for the Food Pantry will occur Sunday, October 6. While we appreciate every single food donation, this month St. Paul's is collecting non-perishables for our local Food Pantry. Suggested items are Food Items: ground coffee (not whole bean), tea bags, herbal tea, olive oil, canola oil, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise. Non-Food Items: diapers size 1, 2, 6 (not 3, ,4 or 5), baby wipes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, (male and female), shaving cream, hand lotion, floss, adult diapers, shampoo, conditioner, lip balm, sun screen, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, toilet paper, tissues, feminine sanitary napkins, tampons, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, white vinegar, housecleaning products (any). Thank you for your generosity and support in caring for our island residents

2019 Nantucket Arts Festival – Joe Hammer Performances

2019 Nantucket Arts Festival
will take place October 4
to October 13. A feature of the festival is the “Petite Concerts,” 30 minute performances in the sanctuary of the Methodist Church

Annual Organ Crawl – Sat., October 12
The Annual Organ Crawl, sponsored by The Nantucket Music Center, will take place on October 12, the Saturday of Columbus Day weekend. Here’s your opportunity to visit some of Nantucket's beautiful historic churches and hear the organs played by local and guest musicians.

Somewhat Spooky Halloween-Save the date
Looking for a way to get in touch with your inner child? Then join us in recreating last year's Halloween event! This fundraiser is appropriate for children ages 3-10 and will take place
Friday, October 25, from 4-7 pm

Saturday, October 26, from 2-5 pm
. There will be games, crafts, a creepy touch box, a Mad Scientists' Lab with Halloween science experiments, a toddler "hay ride" (weather permitting), and a Fright Room for those brave enough to enter.
Volunteer needs include mad scientists to help conduct the (simple) experiments, people who want to be part of the Fright Room/hidden scare crew, overseers of crafts and games, working with the Halloween touch box, and help with decorating/set up/clean up. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

It’s not too soon to mark your calendar for a festive, St. Paul’s holiday season concert featuring vocal and instrumental soloists and ensembles. A special dessert and bubbly reception immediately follows in Gardner Hall, with a preview of St. Paul’s Christmas Market and Silent Auction items. 7:00pm to 8:00pm Concert, followed by Dessert and Champagne, $25 per person.
