2020 Stewardship Campaign Update
Thank you to all parishioners who have pledged to our campaign so far, including at our successful Pledge Sunday last week. We continue to solicit pledges this week and through the end of the year to reach our goal of $350,000 in pledges. The Stewardship Committee plans to follow up with other members of the parish to answer any questions they may have about the 2020 campaign; we also welcome everyone’s thoughts on how to most effectively serve our island community with the funds we raise with needs not met now by other nonprofit organizations. We know the needs are great and that we can do more.
You can mail us your pledge cards at any time by the end of the year, as well as contribute online at our website through a secure link. We also have extra brochures and pledge cards on the table at the back of the church and in the church entryway. The Pledging and Gifting process gives us a certainty of revenue that is invaluable for St. Paul’s financial planning as we seek to fulfill our mission: to make the love of God more widely known through our many ministries, which we hope to grow with your financial support. To reach the community more effectively, it would be wonderful if you’d pledge if you have not pledged before, or to increase your pledge if you have. Our objective is that within three years our yearly fundraising events, which raise about $50,000 a year, will fund our Outreach, and the larger the number of new pledges and increased pledges, the closer we’ll get to that goal. Once again, you can adjust your pledge or gift up or down if your circumstances change. For more information on giving to St. Paul’s, please visit us at stpaulschurchnantucket.org/giving/. Again, thank you.
