LEGISLATIVE UPDATE

A Big Leap For PA Businesses. How the Corporate Net Income Tax Decrease Changes the Game for Pennsylvanians.

Finally! A statewide chamber-led bipartisan effort has led to Pennsylvania's Corporate Net Income Tax to be reduced for the first time in 27 years. The new budget plan will give Pennsylvanian’s the opportunity to compete with other states with the CNI Tax going from 9.99% down to 4.99% by 2031. This monumental change will allow new businesses to move into Chester County to invest, grow and create new opportunities. By 2031, Pennsylvania will have the sixth lowest CNI Tax, almost guaranteeing an increase in GDP and wages for our workers.

CCCBI Advocates for Necessary Transportation Funding

Read our letter regarding inadequate funding in the TIP for our county, especially as it relates the Eastern Section of Route 30 Bypass and the lack of funding for the extension of the passenger rail services (SEPTA) to the City of Coatesville. Our request is that the additional capital needed to fund these improvements is provided for the betterment of our community.
