Tip of the Week
Authored by Joe Vincent, M.L.S., Associate Consultant, TNG

Although ATIXA does not advocate for faculty and student relationship prohibitions, we do advocate for policy creation through our One Policy, One Process (1P1P) Model Policies framework. There are further questions surrounding this issue, however. How should institutions adjudicate violations or penalize parties? Joe weighs in on this and offers recommendations regarding the culture established on campuses.

We are pleased to provide the LGBT Equality Maps created by Cen terLink, A Community of LGBT Centers. The Equality Maps provide quick and easy summaries of laws that affect LGBT Americans on a state-by-state and issue-by-issue basis. The maps present information on laws in areas from employment discrimination and relationship recognition to hate crimes protections and anti-bullying laws. Click below to learn more.
