The Pinal County Board of Supervisors will host a Veterans Day ceremony to honor county veterans on Thursday, November 9, in Florence at the 1891 Historic Courthouse.

Election Hero Day is a time to recognize the critical work of our county election heroes - elections staff, poll workers, and everyone who helps keep our democracy running!


Election workers and volunteers have a tough job. These critical members of our communities work hard to ensure that voters are able to cast their ballots safely and successfully. We extend our thanks to our local election heroes!

Arizona Association for Economic Development Recognizes Pinal County Initiatives

The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) recognized Pinal County with two Golden Prospector Awards for Economic Development initiatives at its recent Fall Forum.


James Smith, Director of Economic and Workforce Development, and Courtney Gulley, Economic Development Coordinator, attended the event to receive the awards on behalf of the County, both are pictured to the right.

Pinal County Attorney's Office Partnering on Free Family Resource Event Happening Today in Coolidge

PCAO will partner with other local agencies to provide a free family resource event in Coolidge on Saturday, November 4, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m


The event is open to the public and will feature the following free resources:

  • Haircuts
  • Winter Clothing
  • Diapers
  • Dental and Eye Exams
  • Hearing and Sensory Screening

Tonto National Forest is Seeking Public Input

 on Recreational Fee Proposal

The Tonto National Forest is considering a recreation fee proposal and wants your input! The proposed fee revenue will help support the recent efforts of the Bureau of Land Management in the Hackamore area to mitigate resource damage and manage use. 


Why Change Recreation Fees?

  • Local fee retention allows reinvesting 95% of the recreation fee revenue generated into maintenance and future improvements.
  • Fees can help pay for things like OHV patrollers and emergency services staffing, staging area improvements, trail maintenance, route markers, etc.
  • Have a say in the proposed fees - submit a comment today!

Development Services Updates Business Hours

Effective January 2, 2024, the Pinal County Development Services Department will change its business hours to Monday-Thursday from 7 a.m.- 6 p.m. This will apply to the Development Services Department only and does not extend to other county departments nor to Pinal County Government as a whole. To read the full release, click here.
