Arizona Association for Economic Development Recognizes Pinal County Initiatives

The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) recognized Pinal County with two Golden Prospector Awards for Economic Development initiatives at its recent Fall Forum.

on Recreational Fee Proposal

The Tonto National Forest is considering a recreation fee proposal and wants your input! The proposed fee revenue will help support the recent efforts of the Bureau of Land Management in the Hackamore area to mitigate resource damage and manage use.

Why Change Recreation Fees?

Local fee retention allows reinvesting 95% of the recreation fee revenue generated into maintenance and future improvements.
Fees can help pay for things like OHV patrollers and emergency services staffing, staging area improvements, trail maintenance, route markers, etc.

Development Services Updates Business Hours

Effective January 2, 2024, the Pinal County Development Services Department will change its business hours to Monday-Thursday from 7 a.m.- 6 p.m. This will apply to the Development Services Department only and does not extend to other county departments nor to Pinal County Government as a whole.
