Town Hall Meeting This Sunday |  Join the Grace Advisory Board for a Town Hall Meeting on this Sunday immediately following worship in the Fellowship Hall. This is an exciting time where we will brainstorm ideas for ministry opportunities, utilization of the Grace House, and plans for the remaining Capital Campaign funds. Your input is vital for shaping our church's future!

Choir Camp This Saturday |  Choir Camp is a casual rehearsal where everyone (regardless of experience) learns new music together! Join us this Saturday form 10am-12pm for a laid-back run-through of the music for Sunday mornings. You are also invited to Wednesday evening rehearsals, which starts September 3 at 6:30pm.

Racial Reconciliation Planning Meeting |  On September 7 after worship, the Racial Reconciliation PALS group will meet in the library to discuss plans for a new Bible study and other initiatives. If you are interested in learning about racial issues in America and considering how to reach out to our neighbors, please join us and help shape the future of the group.

Marie Hammond, Peace Corps in Kenya Update | In the latest update from Marie, she talks about hosting her brother Billy and his grandson, Eli, a hike in Kakamega Forest, a 4-day safari, meeting the Peace Corps staff in Kisumu, touring museums, and a boat ride on Lake Victoria. The school library project is also moving forward with the first donated books delivered and potential grants in the works, and an updated address for mail. Save the Date: “Praying the Themes of the Lord’s Prayer” |

On Saturday, October 4, from 8:30am-noon, Jordan Lutheran in Apex will host a seminar on “Praying the Themes of the Lord’s Prayer.” Pastor Larry Eckart will lead this seminar. Using the Lord’s Prayer as the foundation, this seminar will add meditation on Scripture as an important part of personal prayer. Such meditation on Scripture allows the Holy Spirit to reconstruct our attitudes, priorities and motivations so that we experience the peace that we so often seek in other ways and encounter the world with “Gospel eyes.” Email Pastor Larry if you plan to attend: larryeckart54@gmail.com.
