Noisemakers for Easter Sunrise Vigil | For our Easter Sunrise Vigil at 6am this Sunday, we invite everyone to bring noisemakers of all varieties for the reading of Daniel when King Nebuchadnezzar orders the sound of musical instruments.

Easter Sunday Potluck Breakfast | Don't forget to bring your favorite dish to share during our Easter Potluck Breakfast following the 6am Sunrise Vigil and before the 10:10am Easter Worship this Sunday!

Grace House Open House Sunday, April 12, 11:30am-12:30pm | Join us to explore Grace House, enjoy light refreshments, and connect with members of the task force. Learn more about the ongoing work, ask questions, and share your ideas as we imagine how this space can serve our congregation and community. Stop by after the service and be part of the conversation! Caring for Our Grounds & Property Work Day | Grass grows fast here in North Carolina—and we’re putting together a small team to help mow and trim around the church. If you’d like to be part of the team, click here to sign up. We will also be hosting a Spring Property Work Day on Saturday, April 18. 30 Days of Hope | As followers of Christ who are called to encourage one another, Grace's Discipleship Committee is excited to invite you to join our 30 Days of Hope social media campaign, beginning Monday, April 6. The goal is to share a post every day for those 30 days centered on Jesus’ words from the Bible and messages pointing towards Him. Join in by sending a verse or message of hope to office@gracedurham.org. All posts submitted are subject to review prior to posting.

Example: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” -John 10:10

Wednesdays at One: April 29 | Save the date for our next Wednesdays at One on April 29, featuring a fascinating presentation by Ingrid Daubechies, “Reunited: The Ghissi Altarpiece.”

We’ll gather for a potluck lunch at 12:30pm, followed by Ingrid’s engaging talk on a fourteenth-century Italian altarpiece, its conservation, and how scholars have worked to understand its creation through modern reconstruction.

Southeastern District One Day Leadership Conference | Join ministry leaders from across the Southeastern District on Saturday, May 2, in Charlotte for a renewed season of encouragement, connection, and growth.

This year’s theme, “Speaking the Truth in Love” (Ephesians 4:11–16), calls us to grow together in unity and purpose as we serve the Church and one another.

This conference is designed to equip and encourage lay leaders and ministry volunteers.

Scheduled Elections Voters Meeting Sunday, May 31 | This May, elections will be held for President, Vice President, and Congregation Representative, as the current leaders complete their two-year terms. Per our Bylaws, any voting member may submit a nomination. Please send nominations by Friday, May 15, so they can be included in the voters’ meeting packets on Sunday, May 17.
