St. Thomas Updates

COVID D Update

Dear Friends,

In spite of Blaine County’s significant vaccination rate, we have seen a rise in Covid-19 cases over the past few weeks, and our regional hospitals are filling up. Here is a link to Governor Brad Little’s address earlier this week:
and this is the link to the Blaine County Dashboard:

The data shows that both vaccinated and unvaccinated people are contracting the highly contagious Delta variant and may unknowingly pass the virus along to others.

At the same time, school has started and unvaccinated children are returning to church for Sunday School and other activities here at St. Thomas. Their health and safety are of primary importance to us all. For these reasons, we strongly recommend that you wear a mask in church, regardless of your vaccination status. We can all take off our masks outside for coffee hour and fellowship, which we are really enjoying during these beautiful warm days.

I assure you that we are continuing to monitor the situation daily, and consulting with medical professionals as well as our Bishop for guidance.

Thank you for helping us keep St. Thomas a safe and welcoming sacred space!

In Christ,
Jonah+
