St. Thomas Updates - April 15, 2021
Dear Friends,
I am so pleased with how well our return to in-person worship is going. Attendance is strong. A palpable spirit of love and joy is present. Everyone is cooperating with the protocols we have in place. Thank you! Each Sunday we are that much closer to returning in full.

There is one thing I do want to reiterate at this time. While most of our parishioners are vaccinated, not everyone is. This is true, especially, of our children and youth. Therefore, I ask that if you are feeling under the weather that you refrain from attending worship or visiting the church. This is out of an abundance of caution, but we are a community and we always need to be mindful of one another.
Again, thanks for your support, your love and your faith during this period.
In Christ,
We rejoice in the baptism of Lea Elisabeth Kessler, daughter of Anna Majernikova and Lars Kessler, on April 13th, pictured here with godparents Jim and Kari Lyons. Lea Elisabeth, “We receive you into the household of God!” (BCP, 308).

If you are interested in the sacrament of baptism for your child or yourself, please contact Jonah or Kathleen.

What is confirmation?
Confirmation is the sacramental rite in which the candidates "express a mature commitment to Christ, and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop" (BCP, p. 860).

These classes provide an opportunity for young people to learn about what it means to be Christian and especially Episcopalian.
Not to mention trying to stump Jonah with BURNING QUESTIONS!

Bishop Brian will confirm youth on
Sunday, August 15th, 9:30 a.m. service
when he visits St. Thomas!
