This Past Two Week's Programs: 

May 5: Honoring TCC Professors 
     
    In it's second year of celebrating those who teach at the college level, the Arlington Sunrise Rotary Club is honored to recognize nine Professors at the Tarrant County College, Southeast Campus as "Professors of the Year" in their respective field of study.

     The honorees are selected each year by their peers in their respective colleges. Various criteria is used to determine those that are selected.



May 12: Classification Talk and Club in Review

     John Barber presented his Classification talk, thus fulfilling the requirements for him to graduate from the Red Badge to the Blue Badge. Congratulations, John!!

     The rest of the meeting involved a recap of the accomplishments of the Arlington Sunrise Rotary Club during 2016-17.

Hard at Work at the Highland Games


     Sunrise Rotarians Mark Gist and Don Ferrell are shown hard at work at the Highland Games pouring up beer in support at the Beer tent. Numerous Sunrise Rotarians spent time working the beer tent this year, and as a result, our Club received over $2,000 in tips.

     The motto for the weekend: "We drink all we can and sell the rest!"
