The Bloomingdale Public Library Weekly Update will be changing formats at the end of May & beginning of June. All of our e-Newsletters will be sent out monthly, and you will be able to choose what information you receive.

We will be publishing monthly newsletters focused on the following areas:
General Interest / Library Information
Adult Services
Youth Services
Teen Territory
Computer Classes
Digital Almanac (every 2 months)

Beginning May 26, the Library will be closed on Sundays through September 1.
We will reopen for regular Sunday hours on Sunday, September 8.

The Library will be closed on Monday, May 27 in observation of Memorial Day.

Stoke: how to Spot It and How to Stop It
Monday, May 13 | 7:00-8:00 p.m.

May is National Stroke Awareness Month, an observance that highlights the importance of knowing the signs and symptoms of stroke and encourages people to act FAST (Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, Time to call 9–1–1) if someone is having a stroke. Presented by the Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital.

Leonardo at 500: Exploring the Art of Leonardo da Vinci
Tuesday, May 14 | 7:00-8:00 p.m.

In recognition of the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci, art historian Jeff Mishur discusses works of art attributed to this Renaissance master. Mishur focuses on Leonardo's innovative approach to painting, and how da Vinci helped establish the Italian Renaissance.

Computer Services Featured Program
Seniors Course: Session 3

We’ll be learning about tablets and smart phones in this senior course. Bring your own device or use an iPad provided by the Library.
