From building sea curtains in Antarctica to restoring wildlife in Argentina, the answers are closer than we think thanks to people with a “Resolve to Solve.”

Great Performances at the Met: Eugene Onegin

Soprano Asmik Grigorian returns to the Met as Tatiana, the lovestruck young heroine in Tchaikovsky’s opera adaptation of Pushkin’s novel. Baritone Igor Golovatenko reprises his portrayal of Onegin, who realizes his affection for her all too late.

This week, as school gets back in session, we're looking at extracurriculars!

Music class is with Louis Michot, longtime fiddle player and lead singer of the Grammy award-winning Lost Bayou Ramblers. He tells us how their band balances Louisiana French tradition with musical innovation. Drama class is with Chelsea Anderson, the new Executive and Artistic Director at Fort Wayne Civic Theatre—who made her way back to the Midwest for the role. And after school... that's at Oakley Brothers' Distillery in Anderson. We meet the brothers (Jerrad and Jason) and get an exclusive tour of their historic building.

Healing Earth and Growing the Future with Author Kelsey Timmerman and Regenerative Farmer Chris Baggot: J.R. Jamison is joined by former co-host Kelsey Timmerman to discuss his latest book, Regenerating Earth: Farmers Working with Nature to Feed Our Future, and later Kelsey sits down with an Indiana farmer to explore how he’s working to build a local food system while healing the land through regenerative farming practices.
