Kia Ora!
There is one thing which gives radiance to everything. It is the idea of something around the corner. We have been patiently waiting for the New Zealand borders to open. The excitement of reuniting with loved ones and the opportunity to once again study, work and settle in New Zealand is almost palpable. Stakeholders have eagerly been analysing the frequently issued Immigration New Zealand (INZ) Adviser Updates and Amendments Circulars to interpret them for the benefit of all concerned.
While I have included an interesting write-up about the Accredited Employers Work Visa (AEWV), it is also essential to know that stakeholders are still deciphering the recently issued INZ version of interpretations regarding certain immigration institutions.
Meanwhile, INZ has decided to increase the immigration fees and levies for most visas from 31 July 2022, coinciding with the country’s borders opening.
While most of the 5000 international student cohort applicants have yet to receive a decision on their student visa applications from INZ, the education minister Chris Hipkins has been busy promoting New Zealand as a world-class education destination. Hopefully, the government will correct this quickly by applying a mid-course correction.
In this newsletter, I have included some popular study courses in New Zealand that lead to Green List occupations. Remember, occupations on the Green List have a quicker pathway to residence.
The huge demand for teachers in New Zealand is being felt like never before. So if you want to study in New Zealand to become a teacher or work in New Zealand as a teacher, then check out the recording of the Teaching in New Zealand webinar that we conducted last week.
I have included some client success stories also to inspire you.
Don’t forget to register for the Study in New Zealand webinar I will conduct on 7 July. Registration & other details have been given below.
