The government has announced several changes last month, one of them being the addition of 17 roles to the Green List. Agreement. This is great news as occupations on the Green List have a quick pathway to residence in New Zealand. Besides this, some roles will also be added to the Construction and Infrastructure Sector Agreement.

 

The Skilled Migrant Category (SMC) Resident Visa under the 6-points system opens on 9 October 2023. To ensure a streamlined pathway for applicants with overseas qualifications, the government has updated the List of Qualifications Exempt from Assessment (LQEA) for certain countries.
