Kia Ora!

Welcome to our latest newsletter, your go-to source for all things related to immigrating to New Zealand. As licensed immigration advisers, we are dedicated to keeping you informed about the latest updates, policies, and opportunities that can guide you on your journey to calling New Zealand home. In this issue, we will explore various topics that are of interest to prospective students, immigrants, current visa holders, and anyone fascinated by the stunning landscapes and vibrant culture of New Zealand.

If you're a student, migrant worker, citizen, or resident wanting to bring your partner to New Zealand, a relationship timeline is a crucial document that must be included in your partnership-based visa application. It provides valuable insights into your relationship with the case officer. If you are unsure of what to include in your relationship timeline, the article given below can tell you how to write a comprehensive relationship timeline and ensure its accuracy. If you need assistance with a Partnership-based Visa, simply provide us with your details here.

I have also written an article about the meaning of median wage and how it differs from minimum wage. If you are interested in applying for a work visa, then understanding the importance of median wage is essential, especially for the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) and Skilled Residence Pathways.

My article also enlightens readers on how an AEWV holder's income can influence their partner's working rights. Latest Update: The median wage is once again set to increase in February 2024!

My next piece is on Student Visa. Don't let a declined Student Visa application dampen your aspirations of studying in New Zealand! Remember, a setback is just a setup for a comeback. If you're a sincere student whose circumstances weren't accurately represented or supported by necessary documents, fear not. My team and I are here to assist you in navigating through the reapplication process. We aim to turn your dreams of obtaining an education in this wonderful nation into tangible reality!

Do not hesitate to experience the joy of studying in New Zealand with your loved ones by your side. Contact us to discover the benefits of bringing your partner and children along, including emotional support and potential work opportunities. However, keep in mind that the partner's work rights are subject to the student's course level.

On 1 September 2023, we held an event in Kathmandu, Nepal where representatives of various New Zealand institutes like PBRS, NZSEG, UP Education, ACMI, AIS St. Helens, and PIHMS interacted with students aspiring to study in New Zealand and provided them with information about courses and scholarships. I heartily appreciate the contributions of these representatives in making the event a resounding success.

Master of Applied Management, Master of Artificial Intelligence, Master of Management (Supply Chain Management), Master of Professional Accounting, Master of Hotel Management, Master of Professional Accounting, Master of Business Administration, and Diploma in Management (Healthcare) are some of the popular courses amongst international students.

Recently, I had the wonderful opportunity of being interviewed by the Indian Weekender where I was asked very interesting questions about Partnership-based Visas and also about some of the most important immigration-related changes announced by the New Zealand government in 2023. I was also interviewed by NZ Punjabi News and asked various immigration-related questions. Do watch the videos included for they will give you a small insight into the world of New Zealand immigration.

Also, my articles - ‘INZ Must Review Flaws in the AEWV Process’ and ‘Onshore Visa Application: How to Avoid Obstacles’ have been published in the print edition of the Indian Weekender (18 August 2023, pg.6 and 1 September 2023, pg. 8 respectively). The same has been included below for you to read.

On 8 September 2023, my team and I had the amazing opportunity of attending a demonstration class organized by the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu New Zealand where Chef Sebastian demonstrated outstanding culinary skills and French patisserie techniques. If you are interested in the world of hotel management or gastronomy and want to become the next master chef, do contact us, and we will help you fulfil your dreams!

A lot of you have been contacting us to understand how to gain residence in New Zealand. We are holding an event that might help you - On 15 September 2023, we are holding a webinar on Pathways to Residence in New Zealand. To gain more information and to get your queries answered, please register here.

For those of you in Oman who wish to move to New Zealand to study/work/live, there’s a wonderful opportunity to meet me and my colleague Amit Malhotra and discuss your visa options with us in person. We will be in Muscat from 11th to 15th October. Please register for the event by clicking here.
