Yurt FAQs

Q. Can I bring my dog/goat/parrot?

A. Pets are not allowed. If you have a Service Animal you can find more information about that here.

Q. Do you have mobility-accessible units?

A. Yes! We have 2 yurts with no stairs. However, be advised that the terrain is still a grassy field, mulched trails, and rough gravel and that these units do not have a futon, therefore, can only sleep 2 guests. Let us know if you need assistance getting around during the event.

Q. Can I bring a grill or fire pit?

A. Yes, but because of the nature of these structures, fires and grills can only be used on the gravel. We have a communal fire pit at either end of the yurt village. BYO firewood. Fires may not be made on the ground and must be contained.

Q. How long is the walk to the venue?

A. It is roughly a 15 to 20-minute walk from the Yurt Village to the venue.

Q. What do I do if I have a need or problem in the middle of the night or any time when I can't find someone?

A. Please call me, Susan, and I will see that any issues are addressed as soon as possible. 423-403-4403

Q. Location, cave tours, and any other non-yurt-related information?

A. Check out our other FAQs

Our priority is your satisfaction! We all at The Caverns love what we do, so don't hesitate to speak with any staff you see. We're happy to help!

See you soon!

Some of the yurts are furnished with a custom hand-carved bed much like the one seen here. The beds are carved by Rob Morrow, the same artist who crafted the magic doors to The Caverns subterranean concert hall.

Sheets for the futon are located under the bed.

Coffee cups, plates, bowls, & utensils are provided.

Towels and hand soap are provided.
