The S.A.V.E. (Safeguard American Voter Eligibility) America Act has returned to conversation, and the outcome could have significant implications for voting access. On Wednesday, the House successfully voted on the bill-

now it awaits a Senate vote.

If the Senate passes it, they ask the president to sign it in to law.

Voting rights and civic engagement groups warn the law would create new barriers to registering and casting a ballot.
