For the month of May,
your gift has double the impact!
Today is the day! #GivingTuesdayNow - a global day of generosity and unity. Today, we are thankful for our volunteers and donors who make our ministry possible.Since kindness is contagious, we have a challenge matching gift for our Annual Fund! The Chanco Board, Campaign Executive Committee and a few key friends have given $13,250 to our Annual Fund as a 1:1 match for all unrestricted gifts given during the month of May. Your gift will have double the impact.

Camp Chanco alumni Jim Camp (1981-1988) is the parent of two campers (2008-current) and gave $513 today to Chanco for #GiveTuesdayNow. When asked about the unusual number of his gift he responded, ”I was Happened at Happening #13 and my boys’ soccer numbers were 13. Thirteen has special meaning to me.” Jim is a previous board member, long time Chanco supporter, and a campaign donor. He gave to the Annual Fund today knowing his gift would have  double the impact and wanting to be sure Chanco staff are supported during this challenging time. Thank you, Jim!

If a camp or retreat reservation needs to be cancelled by camp leadership or by you because of the COVID-19 virus any registration payments, including the full, non-refundable/non-transferrable deposit will be refunded, credited toward a future program, or may be donated to Chanco as a gift in support of our mission, based on the individual’s preference.
