WORKSHOP APPEAL

JUNE 2022

Dear House of Hope Supporter,

The House of Hope (HOH) is addressing a HUGE community need by providing a rehabilitation ministry that helps men overcome life-controlling addiction issues.

Men receive 24/7, individualized support when they have no money and a pile of citations and fines to resolve. The HOH helps them through the process of clearing their record, learning trade skills and becoming faithful followers of Jesus Christ - Our Savior!

PRAISE GOD: A year after opening the doors, the program is full and we find ourselves in need of our own dedicated WORKSHOP SPACE for teaching trade skills.

The plan is to tear down the existing, dilapidated garage located behind the House of Hope (pictured above) and build a new structure.

The workshop is a HUGE need as it will allow us to:

  • Teach woodworking and workforce development skills to men in the program.
  • Sell products made by the men in the program to local stores, community events, and outlets to partially fund the organization.

**YOUR GIFT WILL BE MATCHED**

The House of Hope Workshop Appeal

fundraising goal is $90,000

A huge thank you to The Spider Lake Church in Hayward, WI.

All donations to the Workshop Appeal will be matched up to $40,000!

Please help us reach our goal!

DONATE HERE

The House of Hope is a registered 501 c 3 nonprofit (EIN: 84-4955418) and relies on the generosity of our donors.

Only with YOUR HELP can the House of Hope

  • Work with men who find freedom from addiction by strengthening their faith. These two things go hand in hand. This faith walk provides the inner resources, healing and grace to begin a new life through forgiveness provided on the cross of Jesus.
  • Connect men with involved mentors and a healthy community in which new life patterns are established.
  • Teach skills to help men get jobs upon graduating from the program

You may also choose to dedicate your gift in honor or memory of a loved one. Thank you for standing with the HOH and for standing by the men in our community who desperately need to stop the destructive cycle of addiction and incarceration by finding Christ and a sustainable path to recovery and independence.

We would be greatly honored if you would consider donating to our Workshop Appeal (click here).

Sincerely,

Michael Thompson, Executive Director
