Our story is: God's love against all odds rescues and saves us.

IN WORSHIP THIS WEEK:
Please join us for worship this Sunday, as we celebrate the Palm Sunday and Jesus's entry into Jerusalem, and then look forward toward Holy Week. The Deacons have decided to try something new: we will process around the sanctuary with our palms during the opening hymn. (As always, those who are not comfortable may stay in their pews.) Pastor Rachel will conclude her sermon series, "Spring Cleaning: Take Up Your Cross," with a sermon entitled, "Dying to Live," based on Mark 14:27-31, 66-72. Randy Stephens will be Deacon of the Day, and Patty Sumner will be Lay Reader. Ashley Adams will offer a Children's Sermon. Musical leadership will be provided by Zoe Vandermeer and the Sanctuary Choir. Please join us for our annual Palm Sunday Brunch immediately following the service.

ABOUT OUR SERMON SERIES: Developed from an idea from the Rev. Mindi Welton-Mitchell, the sermon series addresses issues that clutter our spirits and keep us from moving forward in our lives. What patterns and habits do we have that are destructive? What keeps us from trusting God? Are there things poisoning our lives from the inside? How do we know God loves us? How can we change our lives -- what needs to be "put to death" so that we can rise to new life? Please join us as we explore ways to find new life.
