Specifically, the notice extends the due date for furnishing the following to individuals: the 2018Form 1095-B, Health Coverage, and the 2018 Form 1095-C, Employer-Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage, from January 31, 2019 to March 4, 2019.

New York's Paid Family Leave program was first implemented commencing on January 1, 2018. For 2018, twenty-seven insurers are offering Paid Family Leave coverage. In determining the community rate for 2019, DFS has reviewed claims, demographic, financial and other Paid Family Leave data for the first six months of 2018 for the Paid Family Leave program in New York, consistent with actuarial principles. Senators from both sides of the aisle have sponsored a bill that would delay implementation of the ACA's health insurance tax (HIT) once again, this time for two years.
