The Other Reasons Kids Aren't Getting Vaccinations: Poverty & Health Care Access
|
The toddler looking up at Dr. Melanie Seifman in her Washington, D.C., exam room seems a little dazed.
It could be because she just woke up from a nap at daycare. It could be that she remembers the shots she got last time, and she knows what's coming.
The little girl is catching up on some vaccines she's behind on: missing
doses of the DTaP and polio vaccines. She's over two years old - both of those shots
are supposed to happen

NJ Health Insurance Mandate
This came across my desk and I'm sharing it with you due to the urgency of the content. This information is also visible on our website.
Starting with Tax Year 2019, the
New Jersey Legislature requires third-party reporting to verify health coverage information provided by individual taxpayers. That means employers must provide New Jersey taxpayers and the State with the same 1094 and 1095 health-care coverage information they sent to the IRS in Tax Year 2018. Employers will file health coverage forms through New Jersey's system for filing of W-2 forms. Companies must file 2019 coverage information electronically by February 15, 2020. The article in full is available here.
