40th Edition 8/22/2024

I think we are all loving this little break from the hot temperatures the last few days, but this weekend promises to bring us more average seasonal temps and humidity.

Don't worry, with school starting up, we will enter into Fall soon!

Remember to slow down and keep an eye out for all those little ones walking to school and waiting at the bus stops.

Allow yourself a little extra time to get to where you are going because we will see the school buses back on the road very soon!

Below are 2 surveys that we are seeking participation in. Please take a few moments - one will aid us in identifying your water service lines and the other is to provide feedback for staff and elected officials as ordinances are being created to give guidance on marijuana facilities, cultivating, manufacturing, retail and more.

Thank you in advance for your participation!

Survey Closes August 31st

Marijuana Survey Ending SOON!

The City of Dover is actively engaging with its residents to gather valuable input.

With the legalization of marijuana in the State of Delaware,

it is important to establish a comprehensive ordinance that outlines the guidelines if and where marijuana will be permitted in the city.

Your participation in this process is important to ensure that the regulations are fair, just, and reflective of the community's wishes.

To determine which district you reside in and contribute to this significant decision, please click on the following link: ELECTION DISTRICT

Your input matters, and together, we can shape a better and more inclusive future for Dover.

Please note: This does not change the fact that it is legal in Delaware. While we understand many may not support the legalization, it is in fact legalized. This survey is to provide us with your opinion on cultivation, manufacturing, testing facilities and retail uses in the city limits of Dover.
