Tis the season for the 30th Annual Festival of Trees Auction:

The Z-M Chamber is proud to announce this year’s auction will be on Friday, December 2, 2022, at the Zanesville-Muskingum County Welcome Center from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. This notable auction would not be possible without the support of over 200 local businesses, attractions, sporting events, non-profits and more who donate generous auction items and incentives each year.


Please consider supporting the Festival of Trees auction while promoting your business at the same time by donating a holiday auction item and incentive of your choice! You can easily submit your entry form online here.   

The deadline to submit your entry is Monday, November 14th.

Multi-generational workforce Safety Training:

The BWC provides resources to help keep both younger and older workers safe. Youth safety resources is a toolkit including resources for young workers, parents, employers and educators. The toolkit includes:

  • Young Workers Safety Online Training.
  • Websites.
  • Publications/Articles.
  • Information on youth rights and responsibilities in the workplace. 
  • Employment resources on restrictions involving hours of employment and nature of work. 
  • Additional resources for educators.
  • Additional resources for employers.
  • Filing a workers' compensation claim.

LAST CALL | WHIZ Holiday Television Campaign:

The Z-M Chamber is teaming up once again with WHIZ-TV to put together a cooperative community-awareness campaign to promote the not just the benefits of buying goods and services locally during the holiday season, but to thank the community for their support of local businesses. Each of the messages will air a minimum of 100 times over the course of the campaign and will appear in Sunrise in Southeastern Ohio, The Today Show, Live at Noon, the WHIZ-TV Reports at 5, 6, and 11, as well as NBC and syndicated programs. Zanesville Pearl House Ribbon Cutting:

The Z-M Chamber invites you to join us at the Peal House Ribbon cutting on Thursday, October 27th at 10:00 a.m.  Federal, local and state representatives will join staff and development partners to celebrate and tour Pearl House Zanesville, a brand new permanent supportive housing property in downtown Zanesville. Pearl House Zanesville features 34 two-bedroom apartments for individuals and families recovering from drug and/or alcohol addiction. Residents experience a traditional apartment life with additional support services, treatment, and a full-time case worker provided through Muskingum Behavioral Health. Learn more...

The Muskingum County Emerging Leaders invite all young professionals to join us on November 10th at Bryan Place for another great networking opportunity! During this event, we will mix, mingle and learn marketing secrets to success! Have a side hustle, thinking about starting one, or are you a small business owner? Marketing expert Jenn Folden, Director of Strategic Communications and College Relations at Zane State College, will give a brief presentation on marketing tips every small business owner should know. 4th Annual Taste of Muskingum County:

The Taste of Muskingum is the Foodworks Alliance annual benefit gala for Muskingum County. The Taste of Muskingum will feature a number of local chefs who will compete against each other in a head-to-head competition of skills to create a delicious dish using some of the ingredients supplied by the Foodworks Alliance clients (BBQ sauce, salsa, ketchup, spice rubs... it could be anything!) Rotary Race for Grace!
