WHYY Summer includes multi-week media production programs for students finishing grades 6-12 throughout July and August. Class offerings include photography, journalism, and stop motion.

PBS39 is hosting their summer program, Production U, from July 11-July 22. Students entering grades 9-12 will learn and share the excitement of the video and audio production process and have a chance to develop a wide variety of production skills and learn from experts in the field. WQED's Steeltown Film Academy offers an opportunity for aspiring creators this summer with options for in-person and virtual learning. Designed for high school students interested in filmmaking as a career path, students will access WQED studios, equipment, and award-winning producers as teachers and mentors.

WHYY Little Libraries are places where children can find and are encouraged to take books home. Throughout the summer, WHYY will host story hours with hands-on learning activities in several community spaces. One place you will find them is 4528 I St. in Philadelphia on Thursdays beginning at 10 a.m. from July 14 through August 18.

WQED now has a Little Free Library outside their studio. The library is filled with books, activities, and resources for children and their families.

Your local library has terrific summer programs and many offer programs with the theme "Oceans of Possibilities" this summer. Find your local library here.

WQLN's educational mission is “to engage underrepresented students with interactive learning experiences by connecting stakeholders to high-quality standards-aligned programming.”
To fulfill this mission, WQLN's education team created the WQLN PBS KIDS Education Ambassadors program. It consists of a select group of active professional educators in pre-K to fifth-grade classrooms throughout the region who believe in WQLN’s vision and mission for the community. The ambassadors are volunteers who promote WQLN PBS KIDS programming and resources in their school buildings and help build teacher and family relationships. The inaugural group of 14 ambassadors is in place for the coming school year.

Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood helps children understand and practice skills like getting along with others and managing their feelings.

Dinosaur Train inspires early learners to think like a scientist, explore the world around them and learn about dinosaurs.
