Harrogate Station Gateway Proposals: Your Business Voice
Survey and consultation
Major improvements are being proposed for the area next to the train and bus station in Harrogate town centre.

Businesses, residents and visitors, are encouraged to share their feedback on the latest proposals.

Local councils and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority are working together to deliver the changes, and welcome comments on these from businesses.

The proposals are available to view online at any time until 12 November, or by visiting the Victoria Shopping Centre, Harrogate 10am – 3pm on 5 November.

Help to Grow: Digital - Online Support and Funding
Help to Grow: Digital is a new national scheme, designed to boost business performance.

Eligible businesses will be able to access free, impartial online support and discounts of up to £5,000 towards the costs of buying approved software.

Now accepting registrations of interest, Help to Grow: Digital is due to open in December 2021.
 
Co-Lab: Interactive Workshops for Business Owners and Entrepreneurs
Businesses and entrepreneurs are invited to the new Co-Lab workspace, as it opens in Harrogate this month.

Commissioned to celebrate the opening of Co-Lab is a programme of free, interactive workshops.

Working with three highly experienced delivery partners, each workshop has been designed to develop the Co-Lab community, fostering business connections and growth in the digital, tech and creative sectors.

Growing International Trade: 17 November
Support to export is the focus of a regional business event hosted by the Department for International Trade (DIT).

Part of the Growing International Trade UK Roadshow series, the in-person and online event is in Leeds on 17 November.

Financial, Professional and Businesses Services firms are encouraged to attend and hear about:

  • Green finance and embracing sustainability: Reflections on COP26
  • Established vs emerging markets
 
Registration is free and includes refreshments and networking breaks.

Manufacturing and Supply Chain: Support and Funding
Businesses in the manufacturing sector are invited to access expert advice and grant funding to support their growth and expansion.

The Supply Chain Programme has benefited over 200 businesses in North and West Yorkshire, helping them improve process efficiency and develop new opportunities.
